Welcome to The Golden Empress Oil & Co. This brand comes from my own personal pain point. I struggled with my cycle — bad cramps, major back aches, painful migraines, irregular periods, heavy flow, clots. And I thought most of it was normal.
My nani had a heavy flow. My mom had a heavy flow. So it felt like something given to me in dahej. Till one day I couldn't take it anymore, went into a black hole of research on menstruation — and discovered that clots are not normal. That you're supposed to bleed only 4–6 spoons in an entire cycle. That the cycle should only shift 1–3 days from a 28-day window.
So I decided to take matters into my own hands. I did my certifications in Pranic Healing, Bach Flower Therapy, Yoga Teaching (Hatha), and Herbalism. I tested on myself — constantly. Different permutations, combinations, blends. I learned. I tested on friends and family. And it worked.
